1. Not Officially Endorsed or Approved
None of the worksheets, tests, quizzes, rubrics, unit plans, activities, games, or other educational materials produced by any BrightPath tool have been reviewed, approved, endorsed, or certified by any school board, certified educator, curriculum authority, state or national education department, or any official educational body. All BrightPath apps and tools are provided solely to assist teachers and parents in creating their own materials, and any resemblance to specific standards is the responsibility of the user to verify.
2. A Tool, Not a Curriculum
BrightPath apps are intuitive, editable creation tools designed to help each teacher or parent build their own lessons, practice, and assessments. They are not a complete curriculum and are not a substitute for professional judgment, official standards, or district-approved materials. The final content, accuracy, and suitability of anything created with these tools rests entirely with the educator using them.
3. Teacher Review Required
Because much of the content is generated automatically and is fully editable, the user is responsible for reviewing every worksheet, answer key, plan, or resource for accuracy and appropriateness before using it with students. BrightPath and FreePuzzleKids are not liable for any errors, omissions, or grading outcomes resulting from the use of these tools.
4. Grade Levels Are Guidance, Not Certification
Grade-level settings (Kindergarten through 6th Grade) are provided as a helpful starting point based on common learning progressions. They do not represent alignment to, or certification by, any specific state standard, Common Core, or official framework. Users are responsible for confirming that any material fits their own classroom, standards, and students.
5. Student Data & Privacy
BrightPath tools are designed to protect privacy. Our apps do not collect, store, or transmit student names, grades, or personal information to us. Any content you type into a tool stays on your own device or within your browser and is not sent to our servers. You are responsible for handling any information you choose to enter in accordance with your school’s privacy policies and applicable laws.
6. Your Responsibility for Content
Because the tools are editable, you are responsible for ensuring that any text, questions, or material you enter and print is accurate, lawful, and appropriate for your students. You agree not to use the tools to create content that is unlawful, harmful, or inappropriate for a classroom setting.
7. License & Permitted Use
Your purchase grants a single-user, non-transferable license for personal classroom, homeschool, or tutoring use. You may print and use the materials you create with your own students. You may not resell, redistribute, sublicense, share your account or login, or repackage the tools or their output for commercial resale or distribution to others.
8. Access & Availability
Access to the tools is tied to an active subscription or plan. The tools are provided “as is” and “as available.” We may update, improve, add, remove, or occasionally take tools offline for maintenance. We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free access.
9. No Guarantee of Results
BrightPath makes no guarantee regarding student outcomes, test scores, or academic performance. These tools are aids for teachers and parents; results depend entirely on how they are used.
10. Payments, Subscriptions & Refunds
Because our products are digital and provide immediate access, all sales are final and non-refundable. If you experience a technical problem accessing a tool you purchased, please contact us and we will do our best to resolve it. Subscriptions, where applicable, remain active for the term purchased and provide access only while active.
11. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Any changes take effect when posted on this page. Your continued use of the website or tools after changes are posted means you accept the updated Terms.
